Facebook αλλά το Βατικανό φαίνεται ότι δεν ήταν εξίσου τυχερό. Σε
απάντηση μάλλον στη σύλληψη των υψηλόβαθμων στελεχών της ομάδας LulzSec,
η γνωστή κολλεκτίβα hackers έριξε την επίσημη ιστοσελίδα του Βατικανού!
Την ευθύνη για την επίθεση ανέλαβε η ιταλική πτέρυγα της ομάδας και
την δικαιολόγησε λέγοντας ότι η Καθολική Εκκλησία ευθύνεται για αμέτρητα
σκάνδαλα κατά τη διάρκεια της ιστορίας και κρύβεται πίσω από ένα
ψευτοσυντηρητικό δόγμα.
“Οι Anonymous αποφασίσαμε σήμερα να
επιτεθούμε στην ιστοσελίδα σας, απαντώντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο στο δόγμα,
τις λειτουργίες, τις παράλογες και αναχρονιστικές αντιλήψεις που
εξαπλώνει ο κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός σας σε όλο τον κόσμο. Η επίθεση δεν
είναι ενάντια στη Χριστιανική θρησκεία ή ενάντια στους πιστούς
παγκοσμίως, αλλά απευθύνεται στη διεφθαρμένη Ρωμαϊκή Καθολική Εκκλησία”
Σχετικά σύντομα πάντως, η επίσημη ιστοσελίδα του Βατικανού είναι επανήλθε σε λειτουργία.
